As agricultural technology continues to merge and boom with sustainable farming, I decided to embark on the challenge of entering this field with no prior knowledge of soil-less systems or tech skills. In turn, I created a hydroponics system, this website and would love for you to follow me on this journey!
What Is Hydroponics?
Hydroponics is the process of growing plants without the use of soil. Some advantages of a hydroponics system is less water use and less land use. Therefore, hydroponic systems tend to work well where there is limited space to grow and limited water!
Why The Urban's Wild AgTech Program?
This program provided resources I know I would need, in order to fully understand my passion for food security within low-income communities. However, I did not know it would spark a passion to share these resources worldwide. This program has been a catalyst of so much change in my purpose and I am forever grateful for the opportunity.
