Hello my name is Ohanie Cruz and I am 20 years old and trying to build up my career for a secure and happy future. My current short term goal is to become an electrical apprentice for the MTA, Union or any big cooperation. I am currently attending Coop to prepare me for my electrical apprenticeship. I was given this opportunity to explore and open new opportunities by being in this Agtech program where I can learn new skills that I can not only apply to real life but also to my electrical skills. I do not mind looking into different careers where I can still apply my electrical skills like solar and agriculture. My long term goal is to build wealth and equity. My parents never had anything to their name like a car or property and I want to change that for us and own a house and possibly rental properties as well. I also would like to invest in the stock market long term.
