Hi! I'm Friday 👋
I am a multi-media artist/designer, urban farming novice, and aspiring full stack web-developer based in Queens, NY. I'm fascinated by the intersection of art, technology, and environmental justice. I first began my venture into website design and creative coding through free workshops with organizations like SheCodes and PowrPlnt. Currently, I am interning as a junior web developer for The Urban Wild
I graduated Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School in 2019 as a Fine Arts major. Here, I received formal art education and training as well as an introduction to graphic design, ceramics, sculpture, print-making and more. I went on to briefly attend the Rhode Island School of Design before leaving to pursue a career in tech. I began to experiment on independent art projects and design freelancing; working with people, businesses, and causes I identified with. During and after my time at RISD I was introduced to a number of digital arts platforms that further sparked my ongoing fixation on the world of technology.
