Hello! Welcome to my website dedicated to Urban Farming. My name is Friday and this summer I joined a program with The Urban Wild called Intro to Agtech as part of their fourth cohort. In this course, we received hands-on, interdisciplinary job training skills in the realms of agriculture, technology, and construction as well as a stipend to build our very own indoor smart farm! Even with 0 previous knowledge of the skills we learned I was able to code this website where you can check out my farm build process, what I've learned from my experience, and hopefully, inspire you to get started on your own indoor hydroponic system.

In an increasingly technological world, it's only natural that the world's most valued industries evolve alongside it. In recent years, soilless farming has quickly become one of the most efficient and sustainable ways to grow crops due to its remarkable ability to produce higher yields in a shorter period of time.
Because of this, the Agtech industry is continuing to gain a lot of traction. Both Tech and Agriculture are industries that are not going anywhere anytime soon, so now is as good a time as any to get involved in this new and exciting field!
